Gabriela waited four years for her Night Blooming Cereus Cactus to blossom. In the world of plant and botany enthusiasts, this is not an event you want to miss. As the sun sets a large bud with green tendrils slowly opens. Upon nightfall a white flower as large as a human face emerges. With multitudes of delicate white petals and a unique yellow stamen, the flower is truly magnificent. In the morning it folds itself back up and wilts. This oil study was done to commemorate the quickly fleeting beauty.
